- What are space saving siphons used for?
Due to their construction design which saves a lot of space under the sink, large siphons are especially suitable when you want to free the space under the sink for storing the household articles such as for example a garbage bin, a gas cylinder, cleaning equipment etc.
- How to connect a drain which is not in the centre of the sink?
In situations where the drain hose is not in line with the axis of the main drain in the sink, we recommend the use of siphons with flexible hoses. In this way you will be able to connect the sink even in cases where the drain is a couple of tens of centimetres remote from the central position of the sink.
- How to clean the siphon?
Our siphons have a unique »S«-shaped bend which, on the one hand, enables effective rinsing of the dirty water, and on the other hand, at the same time enables very easy cleaning of the accumulated dirt (you only need the unscrew the nut on the bend of the siphon).
- How to choose the right siphon for the sink?
In case you have bought a new sink or you want to replace the old well-worn sink, it is enough to send us the following data:
- type of the sink: a single sink or a double sink
- holes in the sink: 63 or 90
- spacing between the holes in the sink
- Does the sink have outflow areas (anti-overflow holes on the lateral sides of the sink which serve for water drainage when sinkholes are closed with the sink stopper plugs) and where?
- the position of a drain hole with regards to the centre of the sink
- diameter of the drain hole ( 32, 40 or 50)
With this information we can compose a siphon adequate to your sink.
- What are pop-up waste siphons?
These are the siphons with a function for opening-closing of the tap which uses a special mechanism which is integrated into the sink. In this way the use of some functions of the sink with dry and clean hands is enabled.
